Visit to the National War Museum, Lower Fort St Elmo, led by Mr Charles Debono, Curator of the National War Museum. Meeting at 2 pm outside Museum. This visit is limited to 30 paid up members, no friends, no partners, spouses or children, and will be on a first come, first served basis. Normal price of tickets at present is €6 but there are concessions for groups. Expressions of interest will be received as of now.

An Illyrian Odyssey: Albania and the archaeology of the World Heritage Site at Butrint
Lecture by Mr Brian Ayers, Director of the Butrint Foundation, Norwich. Brian Ayers is Chief Executive of the Butrint Foundation which works to secure preservation of the World Heritage Site of Butrint in Albania. He was formerly County Archaeologist for Norfolk. He is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London (where he is currently the Hon. Secretary) and of the Royal Society of Arts. He is also a Visiting Fellow at the University of East Anglia and a Member of the Institute for Archaeologists. He has published numerous papers, principally concerning urban archaeology, and is the author of an archaeological history of the city of Norwich.
